Özet

In this study, the effect of natural wood tannin solution against decay in Scotchpine, chestnut and oak species was investigated. For this purpose, the test specimens prepared on the basis of TS 2472 and TS 2479 standards were modified by walnut tannin solution with 3-fold brush, 6-fold brush, 4-hour immersion and 8-hour immersion method. Except for the control samples, untreated and modified samples were applied to natural aging for 1 year in vegetable soil. After natural aging, the density and Hardness of the samples were measured according to the relevant standards.
