This research aimed to determine the effect of individuals' personality traits, psychological and demographic characteristics on their clothing purchase behaviors. Research data were collected from 520 people. A demographic characteristics questionnaire, the Hacettepe Personality Inventory, a Short Form (SF-36), a life evaluation form, and a purchase behaviors and clothing purchase belief-opinion scale, developed by the researcher, were used for collection of the data. Following an analysis of the obtained data, it was concluded that self-realization, anti-social tendencies, social relations, emotional stability (among the personality traits), age (among the demographic characteristics) and evaluating the lives of the individuals are the important factors in clothing purchase behaviors of the individuals.
