AIM:Discoloration following endodontic treatment may adversely affect esthetic outcomes, particularly in anterior teeth. Non-vital bleaching is considered a conservative treatment approach for managing such discoloration while preserving tooth structure. This case report aims to present the clinical outcomes of non-vital bleaching performed in two endodontically treated discolored anterior teeth. CASE:The first case involved the restoration of tooth 11, and the second case involved the restoration of tooth 12, both of which exhibited discoloration following endodontic treatment. Clinical and radiographic examinations revealed no signs of periapical pathology in either case. Gutta-percha was removed to a level 1–2 mm below the canal orifice, and the canal entrance was sealed with a flowable resin composite (3M Filtek Ultimate Flowable Universal). According to the manufacturer's instructions, a 35% hydrogen peroxide bleaching agent (Opalescence Endo, Ultradent) was placed into the pulp chamber, and the access cavity was temporarily sealed. The bleaching agent was left in the tooth for 2–4 days. Color evaluation was performed on days 2 and 4, and the bleaching agent was renewed until the desired shade was achieved. After completion of the bleaching procedure, the bleaching agent was removed, and the teeth were restored with a resin composite (Estelite Asteria, Tokuyama Dental, Tokyo, Japan).

CONCLUSION:In both cases, satisfactory esthetic color matching with the adjacent teeth was achieved without any complications during treatment. Non-vital bleaching may be considered a conservative, effective, and predictable treatment option for discolored endodontically treated anterior teeth when appropriate case selection is performed and the manufacturer's instructions are followed.
