Vandal attacks on works of art to draw attention to climate change and environmental problems attract attention and reaction. These attacks, using the masterpieces of art history as a tool, also cause permanent damage to the works, though it is partial. This research is limited to the activist groups Just Stop Oil, Extinction Rebellion, Letzte Generation and Ultima Generazione, standing out with their actions from climate activist groups. The activist actions carried out within the scope of the research were examined around the concept of Vandalism and evaluated in a chronological order. In the research, literature review method, one of the qualitative research methods, was used. It was observed that the attacks damaged the mentioned works of art. It was observed that the activists strengthened the meaning and expression of the action by choosing works of art that can be easily associated with the environmental problem to which they react. The number of relevant actions has decreased drastically due to the reactions from various circles and art audiences, including International Council of Museums (ICOM).
