Abstract

Selection of the material for the reconstruction of orbital floor defects is controversial. There are both autogenous and alloplastic materials, each having its own benefits and disadvantages. Resorbable mesh plate is one of the alloplastic implants. Although It has many advantages, the considerable complication related to the mesh is local inflammatory reaction along the infraorbital rim.
