Özet
This study presents the first comprehensive faunistic inventory of butterflies in the Çamlıdere district of Ankara in Türkiye. An evaluation of 2980 specimens collected between 2022 and 2024 from 43 locations yielded 118 butterfly species belonging to 59 genera across five families. Of these, 101 species represent new records for the Çamlıdere fauna, for which only limited data were previously available. The results show that the butterfly fauna of the district is represented by 41 species from the family Lycaenidae, 38 from Nymphalidae, 17 from Pieridae, 15 from Hesperiidae, and 7 from Papilionidae. Among the recorded species, Polyommatus ossmar (Gerhard, [1851]), P. poseidon (Herrich-Schäffer, [1851]), and P. mithridates (Staudinger, 1878) are endemic to Türkiye, while P. myrrha (Herrich-Schäffer, [1851]) is near-endemic. Furthermore, this study provides the first record of Anthocharis damone Boisduval, 1836, from Ankara Province
