Özet

Cannabis sativa L. (Cannabinaceae) is cultivated in Turkey for its fibers and seeds. Hemp seeds are used as a food ingredient for its vitamins (A, C, E) and essential fatty acids (EFAs). Hemp oil has been known to have an ideal 3:1 ratio of omega-6:omega-3 fatty acids. In this study, the fatty acid composition of the seed oil obtained from Cannabis sativa L. cultivated in Turkey has been analyzed by GC-MS.
