Özet:

87 8- YABANCI DİLDE ÖZET This sample survey was carried on 446 noncommissioned officiers and private soldiers doing duty for army at General Memduh Tağmaç barracks in the province of Kocaeli. The survey was effected through questionnaires in cross sectional way. The forms formed by 41 questions were filled out under observation: The ones belong to illeterate privates were filled out by aid of the noncommissioned officiers who graduated from high school in a way of reading- recording. The arate of participation is 91 %. The data of survey was evaluated by SPSS statistical pocket program and frequence distribution, arithmetical average, standart deviation; hydranges and tables of marginal and cross were arranged and-x2 and x2 in grade tests were effected by using Epi Info version 6.0 program. The rate of previous training regarding reproduction health in privates and noncommisioned officers is 63,4 %, regarding family planning is 61,8 % and regarding veneral diseases is 56,0 %. 71,1% of privates and uncommissioned officers declared that they or their partners were having family planning. The most safe method was stated by the subjects as condom (73,2 %), he most unsafe method was declared as gel (13,2 %). The subjects declared that they have better knowledge on AIDS (82,4 %) and lesser knowledge on Clamidia (13,3%) as veneral diseases.-88- 49,2 % of the subjects are aware of contraception techniques after unprotective sexual intercourses. The rate of ones who aware of next day pills are 35,9 %. 18,8 % of the subjects experienced next day. 37,5 % of the subjects found the next day pill morally right where as 39,1 declared that hey had no idea. 30,5 of the subjects found the pill is right in religion aspects whereas 40 % declared that they had no idea. In conclusion it has been observed that the subjects have less knowledge about thematters such as reproduction hygiene; family planning andurgent contraception. It has been suggested that the training of noncommisioned officers and privates should be increased.
