Özet:

This study is based on a total of 6735 samples that belong to the Chrysomelidae family (Donacinae, Criocerinae, Clytrinae, Cryptocephalinae, Eumolpinae, Chrysomelinae, Galerucinae, Alticinae, Hispinae, Cassidinae subfamilies) collected from various regions of Kayseri province in between 2015-2019. In the study, the faunistic, systematic and zoogeographical features of the samples were examined. Prior to this study, Chrysomelidae fauna of Kayseri province was represented with 8 subfamilies and 92 species group taxa. As a result of this study, 10 subfamilies and 187 species were identified. Among them, 137 taxa are new records for the Chrysomelidae fauna of Kayseri province. A total of 27 taxa are reported for the first time in Central Anatolia Region. 11 taxa were reported as second record for the Chrysomelidae fauna of Turkey from Kayseri province. As an important contribution of this study to the fauna of Turkey and Kayseri province, two new species named as „Hydrothassa anatolica Coral-ġahin and Özdikmen, 2019‟ in Chrysomelinae subfamily, Cassida alidagiense Özdikmen, Coral-ġahin, Bal, 2020 in Cassidinae subfamily and a new subspecies named as Chrysolina sanguiocincta pinarbasiense Özdikmen, Coral-ġahin, Bal, 2020 were described and included into Chrysomelidae family in this study. Moreover, 5 species are regarded as new records for Chrysomelidae fauna of Turkey (Apthona pallida (Bach, 1856), Longitarsus brunneus Duftschmid, 1825, Longitarsus nebulosus Allard, 1867, Longitarsus symphyti Heikertinger, 1912 ve Psylliodes pallidipennis Rosenhauer, 1856). As a result, through this study, 92 species of taxa known from Kayseri Province as Chrysomelidae fauna were increased to 229 species taxa. Thus, the number of Chrysomelidae species in Kayseri Province was increased by 250 %. Accordingly, Chrysomelidae fauna of Kayseri province represents 20 % of Turkey's fauna.
