Abstract:

After the opening towards Arabic countries that took place in Turkey the increase in Arabic education programs prepared for Turks drew attention. Although the number of studies and researches in this area have risen, the fact that some of the acquisitions of language were not underlined well enough came forward in the teaching of Arabic as a foreign language. In this study which is prepared as a doctoral thesis, verbal skills in the teaching of Arabic was addressed. The thesis consists of two chapters, one questionnaire and its evaluation. In the first chapter, theoretical part of speaking acquisition was addressed. Herein, theoretically and practically verbal skills and stages of verbal skills were mentioned. In the second chapter, practical part of verbal skills was addressed. In this chapter, realization of phonetic implementations, verb, name, structures and sentences, infinitive and adjectives and so on in verbal skills were mentioned. In the last chapter of the study, the survey which is implemented to the students who are studying in various universities, Islamic vocational high schools and some private courses and its evaluation were given place.
