Özet:233 The suggestions according to the results of the research are as below; -Considering especially Ankara traffic, the working hours need to arrange maximum 8 hours according to the EU standards in order to prevent diseases such as stres which will require treatment. -To provide working perfectly and willingly, showing the appreciation to the workers with asking opinions and suggestions on certain issues will increase motivation. -Considering the Traffic Police's working density and tiredness, the Money policies must be develop to motivate these people with compensation, -And traffic density musn't load only to the Traffic Police, the intervention possibility on certain issues about traffic must be given to the other Police who are working with uniform. -With the result of the research, when the presentations on traffic and road security, traffic council, international traffic symposium searched, the Traffic Police who managed the traffic undervalued and there is no any research about their possibility of controlling and it is advised that a research must be held by sociologists and psychologist especially on traffic police.228 BOLUM VII 7.ÖZET ANKARA'DA ÇALIŞAN TRAFlK POLİSLERİNİN ÇALIŞMA KOŞULLARI VE SOSYO-EKONOMİK SORUNLARI Bu araştırma ile, Ankara'da çalışan trafik polislerinin tüm hayatlarını oluşturan çalışma koşulları ve bu zorluklar içinde devam ettirmeye çalıştıkları sosyo-ekonomik durumlarının ne seviyede olduklarının tespit edilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Ankara'da çalışan trafik polislerinin sosyo-ekonomik özellikleri ile çalışma koşulları ve bu koşullara ilişkin görüşlerinin belirlenmesidir. Veri toplanmasında anket formu kullanılmıştır. Hazırlanan anket formu iki bölümden oluşmuş ve anket yüz yüze görüşme tekniği kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Birinci bölümde, araştırmaya katılan personelin birimi, yaşı, cinsiyeti gibi sosyal durumları, ikinci bölümde ise; trafik polislerinin yaptıkları iş, iş yerindeki yönetim, aldığı ücret, terfi olanakları, birlikte çalıştığı kişiler ve genel olarak işleri düşündürülerek, anketteki ifadelerin/kelimelerin (evet, hayır ve kararsız) ne derecede tarif edip etmediğine ilişkin görüş ve önerileri sorulmuştur. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; -Araştırmaya katılanların büyük bölümü Trafik Denetleme Şube Müdürlüğünde çalışmaktadır.
