This research was conducted to find solutions for problems that exist in the programme used by getting the teacher and student opinions about the aims and applications of printmaking education given at Anatolian High Schools for Fine Arts. Research has been done using descriptive method for putting forward the case; information was gathered by interviews, questionnaires and research material. The research is a descripive field sudy. Most of the information was gathered applying questionnaires, interviews and scanning resources. The environment of this study is comprised of the students and teachers of 54 Anatolian High Schools For Fine Arts in Turkey. The sampling of the study consists of 376 students and 22 teachers who were chosen randomly from 23 Anatolian High Schools for Fine Arts. Information gathered from the questionnaries applied was analyzed by means of SPSS The frequency and percent values of each question in the questionnaires were pictured and comments were made depending on the graphical allocations. Besides, a constructed interview consisting of 7 questions towards determining the readiness level of the students and on the problems of graphics (printmaking) education given at Anatolian High Schools For Fine Arts with 4 instructors from different universities on Fine Arts. At the end of the research, the balance problem between Ministry of Education graphics (printmaking) programme and the print making education the intern teachers get at some faculties attracs the attention. Besides, the fact that scarce instructors, course hours, insufficient learning and teaching environment, inadequate instruction materials affect the aims and applications of the course has been shown.
