In the study, frequency distribution, reliability analysis, Kruskal Wallis, Friedman and Wilcoxon- Mann Whitney correlation tests were used. The study was conducted with fourth grade students enrolled in a village school of Düzce district in 2015-2016 academic years. Giving feedback had a positive impact on students' knowledge about production and writing skills, and it strengthened students' substantive process knowledge through planning, generating ideas, drafting and revising.
