Thus, in the qualitative research it was aimed to have the elements helping to collect data deeply more than quantitative representation. Accordingly, with the help of maximum variation sampling method by having 10 parents from each school 130 parents in total were chosen in terms of their gender, age and state of education variables. 57 teachers working with this grade were included in the sample. The findings gathered from both qualitative and quantitative data were interpreted comparatively. According to the research results, it has been found out that in the academic process the level of parents' doing their roles about constructivist approach is not low but they do not have enough knowledge about this approach. With respect to this it could be said that in order to increase the success of the students in the learning-teaching process designed according to constructivist approach the parents should be informed more and they should be included in the works of school at a certain level.
