Prof. Dr. Gökhan SÜRÜCÜ received his B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from Gazi University, where he currently serves as a faculty member in the Department of Energy Systems Engineering. He completed his postdoctoral research at Middle East Technical University (METU).
His research interests include solar cells, hydrogen production and storage, topological materials, quantum technologies, and next-generation materials for energy applications. He focuses particularly on designing high-performance materials for Hydrogen Evolution Reactions (HER) and energy storage systems, while also exploring the potential of quantum matter-based systems in energy and information technologies. He actively collaborates with national and international research groups in multidisciplinary projects.
