Prof. GÖKHAN SÜRÜCÜ

Prof. Dr. Gökhan SÜRÜCÜ completed his undergraduate, master's, and doctoral education at Gazi University, and conducted his post-doctoral research at the Middle East Technical University (METU). He currently serves as a faculty member in the Department of Energy Systems Engineering at Gazi University.

His research interests include solar cells, hydrogen production and storage, topological materials, quantum technologies, and the design of next-generation materials for energy applications. He develops high-performance materials particularly for the Hydrogen Evolution Reaction (HER) and energy storage processes, and investigates the potential of quantum-matter-based systems in energy and information technologies. He carries out multidisciplinary collaborations at both national and international levels.

In addition to his academic work, he is the founder of SRCTECH Bilişim ve Enerji Teknolojileri Ltd. Şti., operating within Teknopark Ankara. Through its artificial intelligence and data analytics division, SRC Analitica, the company provides consulting and R&D services to the defense, aerospace, and energy sectors. Through these activities, Prof. Dr. Sürücü translates his academic expertise in computational materials science and energy systems into industrial applications, leading projects focused on the deployment of AI-based solutions in industry.
