Asst. Prof. ÖNDER KOÇYİĞİT

Biography

Born in 1970 in Ankara, Koçyiğit spent his primary and high school years in Ankara and his secondary school years in Kastamonu city. He completed his undergraduate and graduate education at Gazi University. After completing higher education at Civil Engineering Department, he completed his PhD at Cardiff University. After his doctorate, he returned to Gazi University and He continues to serve as a faculty member as  Assistant. Prof. position. 

Koçyiğit's research topics are in the fields of Hydrology and Hydrodynamics; He focuses on Numerical Modeling of Water Quality, Numerical Modeling of  Snow Avalanche Movement, Experimental and Numerical Modeling of Bridge Feet. Koçyiğit is married with a daughter.
