Asst. between 2005 and 2012, and as a Dr. between 2012 and 2018 at Gazi University, Institute of Science and Technology as Informatics Coordinator and Quality Coordinator. He completed his military service at İzmir Narlıdere Fortification School in 2013. He received the title of Associate Professor in Computer Science and Engineering in 2018. He worked as an Associate Professor at Gazi University, Institute of Science between 2018 and 2020, and as an Associate Professor in Information Security Engineering at Gazi University, Institute of Science between 2020 and 2023, and has been serving as a Professor in the same department since 2023. Since 2020, he has been the Head of the Department of Information Security Engineering at the Institute of Science.

In 2011, he received English language training on writing and speaking at Georgia State University in the USA, where he was awarded an academic achievement award for his success. He also continued his doctoral studies at Georgia Tech University and led the team formed in the sensor network study established at the Georgia Tech stadium. In 2009, he worked in Greece within the scope of the EU project "Embed4Auto - UML Model Based Software Development in Automotive and Embedded Software Systems"; in 2011, he worked in Portugal within the scope of the EU project "Improving the Quality of Education with Distance Education System"; in 2012, he worked in Belgium within the scope of the EU project "Information Security Management System"; and in 2014, he worked in Germany within the scope of the EU project "New approaches to determining, designing and implementing wind energy potential". In 2013, he taught for a semester at the Hoca Ahmet Yesevi International Turkish-Kazakh University in Kazakhstan.

During his research and examinations, he found out that there was no company in Turkey that implemented the Wireless Sensor Networks that form the infrastructure of smart cities, that the applications were only included in articles, that the sensor nodes required for research projects were not available in Turkey, that they were imported from abroad, and that this required waiting for months. Therefore, he established a company in 2014 with the Technopreneurship Capital Support of the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology, and in 2015, he produced the first sensor node in Turkey under the name of "WiSeN" and obtained its brand and patent. As a result of the applications developed with the produced sensor node, he won the Second Prize in the 2nd Business Idea Competition organized by Gazi University Technology Transfer Office in 2014, the Incentive Award in the 2nd Science Days Project Market Competition organized by Gazi University, the First Prize in the Young Entrepreneurship Category in the 3rd Entrepreneurship Campus organized by the Liyakat Association in 2015, and the First Prize in the Smart Buildings and Environment Category in the TET R&D Project Market, Project Spring 7 organized by the Electrical, Electronics and Service Exporters' Association in 2018.
