Assoc. Prof. HAKAN ADA

Assoc. Prof. Hakan ADA received his B.Sc. degree in Metal Education from Gazi University Faculty of Technical Education in 2003. He completed his M.Sc. at the Institute of Science and Technology, Department of Metal Education, Gazi University in 2006 with a thesis entitled “Investigation of the Weldability and Mechanical Properties of Pipes Manufactured for Oil and Natural Gas Pipelines by Submerged Arc and Spiral Welding Methods.” He received his Ph.D. from the same department in 2017 with a dissertation titled “Optimization of Welding Parameters in Welded Joints of API Pipes Using the Taguchi Method.” Following the evaluation of his academic publications and studies in accordance with the Turkish Higher Education Law (No. 2547) and the relevant regulations, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor in the field of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering in 2026. Assoc. Prof. Hakan ADA has taught courses at the associate, undergraduate, and graduate levels at various universities. He is currently a faculty member in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the Faculty of Technology, Gazi University. His research interests include welding technologies, powder metallurgy, materials production, and characterization.
