Dr. Salunkhe Sachin is a Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Gazi University, Ankara, Turkey. He received his Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, India. He received his Master of Technology in CAD/CAM and Ph.D. from S.V. National Institute of Technology, Surat, India. His main research interests are in press tool design, metal additive manufacturing, A.I. applications in manufacturing, expert systems for die design, sheet metal forming, wear analysis, fatigue analysis, and high strain rate. He has more than 160 research papers in reputed journals, conferences, and 16 book chapters to his credit. He is also an editor of various journals, such as Metals. Lubricants (MDPI), Advances in Materials Science and Engineering, Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part L: Journal of Materials: Design and Applications (SAGE) and International journal for simulation and multidisciplinary design optimization, EDP Science.
