He received his bachelor's degree from Karadeniz Technical University, Department of Mechanical Engineering in 2002. Between 2002-2006, he worked as an engineer and manager in maintenance and energy issues in the textile industry. He started his academic life at Gazi University Mechanical Engineering Department in 2006. He received his master's degree in 2006 and his doctorate degree in 2012 from Gazi University, Institute of Science and Technology, Department of Mechanical Engineering. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2017. He still continues his academic life at Gazi University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering. He has been working as an Energy Manager at Gazi University Hospital since 2014. He has more than one hundred articles and three patents published in national and international journals and symposiums. His research topics are energy management and efficiency, air conditioning systems, energy conversion systems, renewable and alternative energy systems.
During the Covid-19 process, he took active roles in the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers Air Conditioning Technical Board and the Turkish Association of HVAC Engineers Covid19 task group.
