Biography
Prof. Oğuzhan Yılmaz received his Ph.D. Degree in 2006 from the School of Mechanical, Materials and Manufacturing Engineering and Operation Management of The University of Nottingham, UK. He involved many Rolls-Royce plc and EPSRC funded research projects as a post graduate researcher and post-doc researcher in Nottingham University RollsRoyce Technology Centre (UTC). He also supervised national funded academic and industrial TUBITAK and privately funded research projects in Turkey.
He worked for Gaziantep University from 2007 to 2015. He affiliated as Professor in Gazi University in 2017. He is the head of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies Research Group (AMTRG). His research interests are additive manufacturing, WAAM, advanced manufacturing processes and repair technologies.
He is currently Editor-in-Chief of The journal of the faculty of engineering and architecture of Gazi University (SCI-E indexed). Associate Editor of The Journal of Machine Design and Production.
He is working in Excellency and Knowledge of Turkish Additive Manufacturing (EKTAM)
Centre and executive board member of welding and joining technologies research and application centre. Prof.Yılmaz is
currently the founder member of Turkish Additive Manufacturing Association (TAMA) and co-chair of AMCTURKEY 2019 and AMCTURKEY 2021 Conferences.
