Biyografi
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yurdakul 1964 yılında
Ankara’da doğmuştur. Lisans derecesini 1986 yılının Haziran ayında Orta Doğu
Teknik üniversitesi Makine
Mühendisliği Bölümünden almıştır. 1986 ile 1989 yılları arasında Türkiye
Bilimsel ve Teknik Araştırma Kurumunda Makine Mühendisi olarak çalışmıştır.
1990 yılında Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı yurt dışı yüksek lisans ve doktora bursunu
kazanmıştır. 1991 yılının Haziran ayında, A. B. D.’de Lehigh üniversitesi İmalat Sistemleri
Mühendisliği programından Yüksek Lisans (M.S.) derecesini aldıktan sonra, aynı
üniversitenin Endüstri ve İmalat Sistemleri Mühendisliği Bölümünde doktorasını
Ocak 1997 tarihinde tamamlamıştır. Aynı yıl içinde Gazi Üniversitesi Makine
Mühendisliği Bölümüne Yrd. Doç. Dr. olarak atanmıştır. 03.10.2006 tarihinde doçentlik
ünvanını aldıktan sonra Ekim 2007-Ocak 2010 tarihleri arasında Mühendislik
Mimarlık Fakültesi Dekan Yardımcılığı görevini yürütmüştür.
Mühendislik-Mimarlık Fakültesinin kapatılarak Mühendislik Fakültesi ve Mimarlık
Fakültesi kurulmasıyla dekan yardımcılığı sona erdikten sonra Ocak 2010-Şubat
2012 tarihleri arasında Doçent Temsilcisi olarak Mühendislik Fakültesi Yönetim
Kurulunda görev yapmıştır. 17 Şubat 2012 tarihinde Profesörlük kadrosuna
atanmasının ardından halen Makine Mühendisliği Bölümünde öğretim üyesi olarak görev
yapmaktadır. 98 adet yayınına 1164 atıf (SCOPUS) yapılmıştır (07.03.2024).
Araştırma konuları arasında imalat sistemlerinin tasarımı, seçimi ve performanslarının
ölçümü, fabrika tasarımı ve organizasyonu, mühendislik ekonomisi uygulamaları,
imalat teknolojileri ve seçimleri, toplam kalite uygulamaları, imalat
stratejileri ve imalat sistemlerinin modellenmesi ve kontrolü bulunmaktadır.
